ProTec includes its materials handling engineering know-how in its complete system solutions. Our experts design individual systems with all necessary components and systems for processing plastics by injection molding and extrusion, for example complete shop installations with a large number of processing machines with shop throughputs of over 3 t/h. Building on many years' experience with components and systems installed around the world, we make sure that climatic, geographic and energy policy issues are fully taken into account in the implementation of your system solution. Smart, Industry 4.0 compatible SOMOS® controllers interlink the drying, conveying, dosing and mixing components.
Central vacuum for suction conveying systems:
Demand-controlled and energy-efficient
Suction conveying systems are the established solution for conveying pellets to processing machinery in plastics manufacturing. Using a central vacuum system, also known as a central vacuum network (CVN), significantly improves the economic viability of these conveying systems. A number of conveyors may be flexibly operated in parallel for simultaneously supplying processing machines. In ongoing operation, a smart CVN only draws the amount of energy which is required to convey the currently demanded volume of material.
